Solar Tech Elec undertook the House of Beer project in Spring 2024, transforming HOB Brewing Company in Dunedin with solar power. The brewery has embraced green energy for a cleaner, more sustainable future. By harnessing solar power through a 138-kilowatt system, their locally crafted beers are now entirely powered by the sun, freeing the brewery from expensive and increasing electricity costs supplied by traditional utilities.

Most recently, HOB Brewing took another step toward energy independence by investing in two Tesla Powerwalls for battery backup.
